Combination Boilers
Combination boilers are by far the best selling boiler type in Britain for houses with gas central heating. They’ve proven themselves reliable, sturdy and tough. Some combi’s will even fit neatly into an average-sized cupboard! If this is not possible, a cupboard could be built around the boiler after installation.
They are also comparatively economical to run, and are capable of producing an almost endless supply of hot water.

Conventional Boilers
A conventional system has two water tanks in the loft, a large cold water storage tank and small feed and expansion tank.
A real benefit of this system is that showers, taps and running baths can be drawn in any room at the same time without disruption.
If the cylinder does run out of hot water, it will have a pretty fast recovery rate of only about 25 to 30 minutes - with a new boiler and cylinder.
